Floyd Red Crow Westerman, Sisseton-Wapheton Dakota musician, actor, and activist, passed away at 5:00 a.m. PST on December 13, 2007 at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles after an extended illness. He was 71.

Earthsongs would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Floyd Red Crow Westerman. Floyd was a friend to many and it will be the little things that everyone will remember, the smiles, the quiet moments, and the laughter. These will be the memories to cherish and help carry us through the pain. Let us celebrate his life and honor his memory.
